To participate in the Junior Racing League, each driver must possess a GPNY Junior Racing license obtained in a racing school or camp. Join us for afternoons of fun and excitement


LIKA Winter Series, $150 for all 3 rounds

Jan 15th, 9am-1pm: Uptown - Adults, Downtown - Juniors
Jan 29th, 9am-12:30pm: Downtown Wet - Adults, Uptown Wet - Juniors
Feb 12th, 9am-12:30pm: Super Track both classes

Junior and Adult drivers from Grand Prix New York will get the chance to compete against the drivers from the Long Island Karting Association. Three rounds all at GPNY will let drivers fight it out on all track layouts including a wet track and our famous Super an attendance last year close to 80 drivers we fully expect this to rise closer to 100 this year so this will be an event that everyone young or old should think about being part of.


Junior Winter League-$500 all 8 rounds, $75 individual round

Eight rounds, 24 race league on a Saturday and a separate eight round, 24 race league on a Sunday, will allow you to play your chosen sport at the weekends and still be able to race at Grand Prix New York too.

Pricing works out at $500 per driver per league for pre-registration for all eight rounds. Rounds can be paid individually but are slightly more expensive at $75 per round. A $200 discount will be applied to the total for drivers signing up for both the Saturday and Sunday league.


JUNIOR RACING SCHOOL CAMPS

The Junior Racing School at Grand Prix New York is open to juniors 7 to 16 years of age and is a perfect way to jumpstart a racing career. It is also an excellent opportunity to introduce future drivers to the basic dynamics of a kart, which will undoubtedly improve their awareness and ability to safely drive a street car in today’s demanding commuting environment. Karting is the most affordable and easily accessible form of motor sports especially when the kart is being rented out.

There are no start-up costs, no short race days due to mechanical failures, no dirty hands and no commitments. Programs are offered on a pre-scheduled per-event basis. Show up, suit up and go. Our classes are led by our professional driver and instructor Stevan McAleer from Scotland. With over 12 years experience in Karting, Formula cars and Sedans and with multiple championship wins under his belt he provides the expertise and commitment to help the progression of all our junior drivers throughout our schools.

Enrollment is held to no more than 25 students in our novice courses and no more than 15 students for our advanced courses. This makes a huge difference in the amount of personal attention and track time each student receives. Upon completion, students receive a Racing License and a complimentary GPNY Annual Membership which does not expire until they are 18!
